Leadership’s Corner

Pastor Wedson was born in the beautiful country of Haiti, also known as the Pearl of the Antilles. He is blessed to be married to his first love and better half, Biztha. They have two incredible boys, Diamond and Jayden.

While working for the National Bank of Canada, God showed him another path, but he assumed God was calling the wrong person.

God was so persistent that Wedson decided to listen.

He graduated from Burman University, formerly known as Canadian University College.

In 2013, he was called by the British Columbia and Yukon Conference. He became the Lead pastor for the Terrace District, where he pastored two churches, two church plant. He was also chaplain of the Spring Creek Adventist Christian School and had the privilege of ministering to the Indigenous communities there.

He was then transferred to the Westminster Seventh-day Adventist Church, where he became the senior pastor with a focus on youth and young adult ministries.

His ministry is based on the leadership style of Christ:

- Identifying with the people you serve,

- Relying on Scripture,

- Living your message,

- and serving ALL.

In a few words, Wedson is loving and caring - understanding and supportive of others. He is kind, generous and down-to-earth - always with a smile. Wedson reaches out to people, young and old, and everyone in between. He is known for his warm greetings and hugs, his encouragement and his playfulness.
